We now have over 200 book videos in our vault. As we update the COS Production website those videos will be available to watch. Many are there now! Many of our clients are repeat customers. Some use only online distribution and some use television. Some of our clients have a budget of under $300 and some have over $10,000.
Here is a breakdown of our prices, note that all of our video products come with distribution-
Cover Story Video- $250
The Cover Story Video has only one picture to it - your book cover. We use the cover in unique and creative ways intermixed with text. You get music and text plus we will distribute it to 10 online sites - MySpace, Google, Yahoo, YouTube, and more! Your video will also be sent out on MySpace via the COS MySpace bulletin where we have over 7000 subscribers. Formatting for television or movie theater is an additional $500. Genre-specific packages are available.
Our Mini Teasers are very popular with publishers and readers. They use still photos, text and music. They are engaging and fun. And, they can be formatted for television for an extra charge. Distribution for the mini teaser goes includes 15 sites and you're included in our filmstrip that plays on Bookslut.com. You are also eligible for other distribution opportunities that are low cost. You do get one hour with a marketing specialist and we send your video and distribution to your publisher if you like. The mini teaser also gets sent out several times in the week it is released, to our MySpace subscribers of over 7000 people. They are sent out to our list of booksellers, book clubs and online magazines. For an additional fee, we can format your mini teaser for television and book media for you. Formatting for television or movie theater is an additional $500. Genre-specific packages are available.

Take your promotion to the next level! Have a book trailer look without the book trailer price. These mini teasers utilize music, still photos and/or CGI, text and most importantly stock footage. Stock footage is pre-filmed scenes. This gives more life to your video. The scenes are not specific to your book, but we choose scenes that compliment the storyline of your book and make sense when placed with the text and other elements. We have even had booksellers contact us to request using these highly entertaining videos! Distribution matches the level 1 Mini Teaser. Formatting for television or movie theater is an additional $500. Genre-specific packages are available.
If you prefer to reach out to your readers on a more personal level, an author interview is a great option. Let your readers or the booksellers get to know you better. Author Interview Trailers include shooting the interview and intermixing your book cover, cover art, etc as a special visual addition to your video. Interviews can run anywhere from 1 to 3 minutes. Perfect for online distribution. Want a longer video? Your video can run up to 5 minutes without additional cost. Distribution includes 20 online sites. Specialty sites such as Clipblast, bookslut and other relative sites. We cut out a 30 second teaser for you to use for your website, television, or as a "coming soon" to your longer trailer. And send it out to all of our MySpace subscribers of over 6700 people. We also send out the 30 second version to book clubs, bookstores and online magazines and invite them to use the video or to have the longer version.
Book Trailers come with a 30 second teaser and a long version. You'll receive photos of behind the scenes for your site. Your video is uploaded to 25 sites online. A press release goes out with your video to online magazines. We send your video to booksellers and book clubs. Your video will show on specialty sites such as The Romance Zone. Formatting for television is automatic if you're putting your 30 second commercial on tv or in movie theaters. You'll receive one week of free publicity with a marketing specialist. Your video will be featured on the COS MySpace site bulletin to all of our subscribers several times throughout the first week your book is released. Formatting for movie theater is an additional $500. Formatting for television is free. Genre-specific packages are available.

Book Trailer (Level 2) - $10,000 - $50,000+ (Digital, HD and Film are available)
With the average cost of a television commercial being anywhere from $50,000 to $250,000 this product gives you more for your money with automatic formatting for television PLUS online distribution. The higher-end Book Trailer allows for more actors, more locations and a higher quality product. Produced by experienced production companies who have worked with celebrities creating commercials and music videos. Distribution is the same as the level 1 Book Trailer package, plus one online genre-specific package in addition. Formatting for movie theater is an additional $500. Formatting for television is free. Genre-specific packages are available.
Sound scenes can easily be formatted for radio. We will put the sound scene to a still photo of your book cover so you can upload it to online sites. We upload sound scenes to 10 online sites. We also put it out in a bulletin at our COS MySpace site. Sounds scenes are offered to booksellers and book clubs for their consideration.

And starting in January 2007 we have Genre Specific Distribution Packages. According to the genre(s) of your book we will place your video on specific sites proven to have an interest in your type of book!
Distribution includes-
Online Social Sites such as MySpace, YouTube, Yahoo, Grouper, MSN, Google, etc. We have over 150 online social sites that we post to.
Specialized Websites such as Between Your Sheets, The Romance Zone and many more, highlight your video and/or a blurb about your book. We continue to create alliances with special websites that have high traffic from readers, booksellers and libraries!
Booksellers - We submit all videos to our list of booksellers who have asked to view them. Many booksellers put the video on their site, some burn them to disk and play them in-store.
Publishers - We're thrilled to see more and more publishers using the video. They're not only posting them to their site, but they're forwarding them on to sales teams.
Online Magazines - We have a list of online magazines that request to see the videos. We can release press releases about your video and/or book.
Additional distribution is available. Television, cable and movie theater booking is available.
Please note that your video is not uploaded to ALL possible sites. Distribution is proportionate to the project budget.
